Bill returned to M. D. Anderson on Wednesday for his 9 month check up. He had a full day of testing on Thursday. We have received the preliminary results from his Bone Marrow Biopsy and are very thankful to report that Bill remains in full remission. We also got the preliminary results of his M.R.I. and there was no leukemia present in his brain. We will not get the full results for another few weeks. We will let you know as soon as we do.
Words can express the joy we feel at these results. We have so much to thank God for and to thank all of you who have prayed and supported him.
Another piece of good news is that Bill and Tess got engaged on Jan 1st. They plan to get married in the Fall.
Our lives are returning to normal gradually. We enjoyed some wonderful family time in Florida in January. We are thankful for each day and try to make each moment count. Illness has its down side, but it also affords one the opportunity to put their priorities in order. For that opportunity we are thankful.
