Whenever I hear the news that Bill is sitting up in the chair, I get very happy! I just got off the phone with my mom a little bit ago and she said Bill is out of the bed and sitting up checking emails etc. Although he is still not 100% where he was this past weekend, he seems to be doing better then he was doing yesterday - which is what we are praying for - each day he gets a little better.
He still does not have an appetite, although my mom has been giving him the hot chocolate protein mixture. He is still receiving both sets of antibiotics, but is no longer receiving liquids because his blood pressure has returned to normal. He had a fever most of the day yesterday and this morning, but it appears it has broken now which is great.
I will be visiting with him tomorrow and hopefully my mom will come home for the day to take a nap and relax for a bit (hint hint Mom!). Hopefully Bill will have a slight appetite and be able to eat something tomorrow. Ryan will be in working all day tomorrow too, so it will be nice to see him around the hospital.
