Happy Valentine's Day!!
Bill completed his first set of chemo treatment (3/7 chemo) last night (Congrats Bill!!). Today at 9:00am he started his second set of chemo treatment to blast away this nasty leukemia for good! He will be on this higher dose of chemo treatment for 3 more days. Please God this will be the last dose of chemo and it will kill every single trace of leukemia in Bill's body!! He has been SO incredibly strong and the chemo has been so effective these last 7 days - we just need 3 more strong days!! We are all so proud of Bill - he has to be the strongest person I know!
His spirits continue to remain high and he is still walking around (we did another 4 1/2 laps yesterday afternoon and I know he had done some in the morning and later that evening) and is still eating very well! The nurses have started to give him some protein milk shakes which are very yummy - so he actually has a medical excuse to eat ice cream now which he is enjoying :)
Frank arrived late last night from Boston to visit with Bill for the weekend and Tess arrived this morning for a short visit. So Bill will be surrounded by lots of love on this Valentine's day weekend! Mom, Dad, Frank, Ryan and I will be going out to a special Valentine's day dinner this evening and Bill and Tess will spend some time together as well.
On this special day, please spend time with your loved ones and treasure every moment with them! Lots of love to everyone!
PS. I can't believe we are up to 24 counties around the world - just saw Peru and Hungary were added today (Hi Karrie's friend and Brandon!!)
