Bill and my parents had a great trip to Seattle. On Friday, they looked at 3 different condos and found one that they all really liked. If Bill does decide to get further treatment in Seattle, it sounds like the have found the place. They had a busy and tiring travel day back to Indy on Saturday. Because they booked the flight to Seattle so last minute, they had to make a few connections which made for a long day! Yesterday we had a really nice family brunch at our house with Bill, my parents and Ryan's parents who were visiting for the weekend. Bill enjoyed Ryan's made-to-order waffles (his specialty!), scrambled eggs and lots of other treats - he even went back for seconds! He and Ryan watched the NCAA games yesterday - Bill is currently winning the NCAA pool - so is enjoying his successes - I told him it sounds kind of rigged if he wins his own pool, but I can verify to everyone that he just chose the right teams! We also had a pizza party last night with some Papa John's pizza - so there was a lot of food ate yesterday!
Bill is going back to the hospital today to start his next consolidation chemo treatment. He will be in the hospital for the next 5-7 days. He will be in the same hospital he was in before, the Simon Cancer Center. Once this treatment is done, he will be able to come home to us again!
Please keep Bill in your prayers today as he starts his next chemo treatment! As you can imagine, none of us are excited about Bill going back into the hospital (especially him!), so please pray for endurance, patience and strength especially this week. I will provide regular updates again as I know you will all be praying and thinking of him.
