Great news! Bill is approaching his 48
th hour without having a fever!! This has made him so much more comfortable and more energetic. This morning his white blood cells had increased to .5 and more importantly his
neutrophils increased to 200!! This is great news - we are on our way to 500! The doctor mentioned to Bill this morning that he will will be able to go home over the weekend if he still keeps improving like this. What good timing Bill has - just in time for St. Patrick's Day! Our family will definitely be celebrating our many blessings of the week in true Irish form...Bill's improving health and the addition of a healthy baby girl to our family!
Bill was up most of the day and enjoyed watching the Liverpool vs. Real Madrid game. He walked a little bit around his room and he ate 2 pieces of lasagna tonight for dinner! It was a busy day so this evening he is a little tired. Hopefully he will have a good night's sleep and will be ready for another strong day tomorrow.
