Happy March! As you can see it has been a busy weekend - the good news is that Bill is doing great! He continues to gain back his strength and is eating 2 meals and a protein milkshake each day now! My mom was cooking again for him this weekend and I just heard that he enjoyed a hamburger for dinner tonight - that will surely make him better! On Friday, he left his room for the first time in a while and walked multiple laps - he has continued to do so throughout the weekend. He is up and sitting in his chair the majority of the day again which is fabulous!
On Friday, Ryan (my husband), gave Bill a new haircut. As I mentioned before, one of the symptoms of chemotherapy is hair loss, so Bill and Ryan decided to cut Bill's hair pretty short (think military hair style..). He also got rid of the beard on Friday too - so he is sporting a new clean cut look. Goodbye to the "rugged mountain man" look he has been sporting the last couple of weeks. He looks great - handsome and healthy - although I agree, I might be slightly biased! :)
He has been keeping up with the soccer games this weekend - watched Spurs vs. Man United today and a few others as well. I had my 30 week ultrasound on Friday, so was able to share some of the fun baby pictures with Bill - I am trying to convince him to be my nanny once he is all better!! The baby would speak Spanish, Dutch and German, would learn US and European sports teams and all the finance/accounting possible! ;)
Good night all!
Welcome
